Dr. Hoang was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended Bellaire High School before heading to Austin for her undergraduate studies. Even while living in different parts of the country, Houston remained home base in her mind and heart.
Her path took her from Texas to Oahu and Southern California, then to Utah for dental school, before she returned to Houston as a dentist. After being away for many years, she is glad to be close to her family again and to build her life and career where she grew up.
Professional Background and Credentials
Dr. Hoang brings a strong academic foundation in science together with life experiences across several regions of the United States.
Dr. Hoang attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
After completing her undergraduate degree, she lived in Oahu, Hawaii and Southern California before beginning dental school in Utah. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Roseman University. While living in Utah, she appreciated having mountains to ski on in the winter, even if she did not enjoy shoveling snow.
Following her dental training, Dr. Hoang returned to Houston, the city where she was born and raised. Being back in Houston allows her to live near her family again and to practice dentistry in the community she knows best.
Dr. Hoang holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Roseman University. This advanced professional degree is the foundation of her work as a dentist.

Dr. Hoang’s approach to care is shaped by her time living in different places and her strong connection to home. She understands what it feels like to be both new and familiar in a setting and brings that empathy to her patients and their families.

After years away, Dr. Hoang is happy to once again call Houston home and to live closer to her family. Her return reflects a desire to root her personal and professional life in the city where she grew up.
Life Outside the Office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hoang enjoys playing beach volleyball, working out, running half marathons (more like 10Ks these days), skiing, and traveling. She is especially glad to enjoy these hobbies while being back in Houston and closer to her family.
